SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 17, 2026
A special of the Grayville City Council was called to order on Tuesday, February17, 2026 at 8:00 A.M.
by Mayor Travis Thompson with the following members present: Commissioners Ford and Browning.
Also present for the meeting were City Administrator David Kendrick, City Attorney Jay Walden and
City Treasurer Sharon Walden
REVOLVING LOAN REQUEST THE SMOKING PIG: Discussion was held regarding the loan
request. Treasurer Walden read a recent facebook post about the Smoking Pig. The council discussed
how valueable the business is to the town. Commissioner Browning made a motion to approve the loan
request. Followed by a second from Commissioner Ford. Motion was carried by all present members
voting YEA.
ADJOURN: Commissioner Browning made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Ford.
The motion carried.
